I am a L.E. Dickson Instructor in the mathematics department at the University of Chicago. I am interested in representation theory.
I did my PhD at MIT under Roman Bezrukavnikov; my thesis was an attempt to understand mod p phenomena in algebraic topology in the context of geometric representation theory.
I was at Cambridge University for my undergraduate and master's degree.
Before that, I grew up in Tadcaster, North Yorkshire.
I play a little music on the side.
